Pecan pie

Makes 1 9-inch pie.
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup dark Karo corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons softened butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 pie crust
- 1.25–1.5 cups of pecans
- Dash of flour
Directions
- Set oven to 350°.
- Sprinkle flour on underside of crust, then lay crust in baking dish.
- Mix ingredients (adding pecans last) and pour into crust.
- Bake for 50-55 min, until knife comes out clean when placed halfway between center and edge.
